Hometown Paper: "Hands Off Paula Deen!"

First off: au revoir Deglazing. We'll miss you!
In other news, the United Food and Commercial Workers union has been picketing Paula Deen because of her status as spokeswoman for Smithfield. I really don't know why, and I'm frankly too busy to bother and find out.
However, if you feel so inclined, you can get the local newspaper's editorial board's opinion on the whole matter!
In a defense kinda reminds one of that "leave Britney alone" video, the editorial says that the protesters should stop picketing Paula's restaurant because, well, she's Paula Deen and she's the bestest thing since fried butter!
The editorial isn't going to win anyone a Pulitzer, but I guess we can to give him a "home town" mulligan on this.
Normally, we loooooove us a good protest, but showing up chef's hats? Amateurs. Talk to the PETA folks and hit the costume rental shop!
