As we move closer and closer to the debut of Gourmet’s Diary of a Foodie, we’re starting to see more and more interest in the form of traffic to this site looking for info and mentions in the media. We’ve already mentioned that we’re looking forward to it, and it made for a big deal in the form of a hoity-toity launch party at Mario Batali’s Del Posto in New York yesterday, October 5th.For all our grumbling tummies, lack of sparkly black outfit and utter inability to distinguish one red wine from another, we have to say that was one party the Freeloader was glad to show up for. For the record, I don’t think I could tell two, four and six-year-old parmesan cheese apart, either.
